About the Author
Michael Hennerici is Professor of Neurology at the University of Heidelberg, and the editor, with Stephen Meairs, of Cerebrovascular Ultrasound: Theory, Practice and Future Developments, published by Cambridge University Press. He is Chairman of the European Stroke Society.
Michael Daffertshofer is Professor of Neurology at the University Hospital in Mannheim, and director of the stroke unit.
Louis Caplan is Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Senior Neurologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. He is the editor, with Julien Bogousslavsky, of Stroke Syndromes and Uncommon Causes of Stroke, both published by Cambridge University Press.
Kristina Szabo is Senior Lecturer in University Hospital Mannheim, and an expert in neuroimaging.

Great for the vascular neurology boards

I read most of this book prior to my vascular neurology boards. I did pass. There were a couple of questions that came straight from this book. The book is a very easy read, and is well illustrated. I would highly recommend this book for any trainee (resident or fellow) in neurology, or anyone who plans to take the ABPN's vascular neurology boards.

good book

i liked the book it is a good review in general for any neurologist i got it prior to a vascular neurology board i hope it is helpful at least i reviewed imp topics briefly,the cases are great overall the book is easy to read and i recommend it.
